Zumba is the largest dance fitness program in the world, based on a Latin-inspired dance fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez in Colombia during the 1990s. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included. Join Kate K. as she shows you how to move your hips to a sweet latin beat! Tone your abdominals as you shake your way to a healthier body! Channel your inner drummer! We use large exercise balls and drumsticks to get a sweet workout. Let the rhythm move you and work yourself up a sweat! We also work on some strength training and core work @ the end of your drum session. Come beat the drums!
 
 Circuit training is a form of conditioning combining resistance training and high-intensity aerobics. It is designed to be easy to follow and target strength building as well as muscular endurance. An exercise circuit is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for another circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise. Plus, you shred fat and burn calories! SWEAT!
 
Step Circuit is a class that combines traditional Step Aerobics & Circuit Training. You start with a step routine and then move into various strength training exercises. You keep your heart rate up for nearly an hour by mixing strength and cardio together. Step it up already!!!!!!

This is a class that will release stress while lengthening your and strengthening your muscles. Most all of the work is done on your mat. Yoga is also used for stress relief by incorporating breathing techniques. This is a beginner class and will introduce the basics of yoga practice. If you would like a more advanced yoga class that will make you sweat, then Vinyasa is for you. Read below.

Vinyasa is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.

Work on building your aerobic capacity with this 60min high intensity class. Reach your anaerobic threshold with One minute aerobic intervals!
Reaching this threshold will help you stay aerobic longer! This class is guaranteed to make you sweat and burn a ton of calories!

Kick, Punch and Crunch your way to healthier body. Front kicks, jabs, and other kickboxing moves will be implemented in this one hour cardio class. 5-10 min warm-up, 35-40 min cardio kickboxing and 5-10 min cool down then we end with 10 minutes of core work! All levels welcome.


Super StepWe start with a 5-10 min warm up and then move right into a full 30-45 min step routine! Basic steps will be used so it is always beginner friendly. Modifications will be show for those who want to challenge themselves. Then let's end with a 5-10 min cool down & stretch and then a little bit of core work!
Strength Training, WOW w/ Weights
Increase bone density, fight osteoperosis and help your body burn more calories at rest! Did you know that when you gain 5 pounds of muscle your body burns 750 calories more per day? This class works on muscle endurance which builds muscle definition; wont bulk you up! We will warm up for 5-10 min then move into a 35 min strength training routine for the lower and upper body. We will end with 10 minutes of stretching and 10 minutes of core work. Perfect for every fitness level. Stability balls, dumbbells and medicine balls will be used.

BARRE
Looking to tone those abs, trim those love handles and get rid of that back pain? This class is perfect for you! Your core is what keeps your body it's strongest, join us for 25 min of crunches, planks and stability ball exercises. Every level welcome!

Barre exercises include both slow exercises, which stretch and warm up muscles, and fast exercises, which help strengthen muscles and maintain technique at any speed. Each barre exercise has a specific purpose, such as to strengthen feet, increase extension & improve flexibility. Proper placement and posture is emphasized in all exercises. Lengthen and strengthen with this class. Taught by Betsy Arnold who has been a dancer for years!
